Make good use of escalators.

 

 

You don't have to use the escalators in some cases

- People with reduced mobility or sight loss

- Children in prams

- Trolleys, bicycles and packages or large luggage

- People who have a fear of escalators

 

 

Use the escalators making a good use of them

- Always follow indications on escalators

- Locate the emergency button. Use it only if absolutely needed

- Hold onto the handrail during use

- Travel without running

- Children must hold an adult’s hand

- Check that your clothes do not touch the escalator. Be careful with laces and sandals

- It is safer to stay on the same step. Look forward

- Keep a safe distance from people ahead of you

If you can not use them, take the lift.
